City of Los Banos
Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, & Construction management Services
How We Serve Los Banos
Precision Civil Engineering, Inc. (PCE) has an extensive history of providing professional engineering, construction management, and public works support services to the City of Los Banos, including multiple On-Call Engineering Services contracts and leadership roles as Interim Public Works Director and, currently, City Engineer. Serving in these capacities, PCE functions as a trusted extension of City staff, providing the technical and administrative support needed to manage the City’s infrastructure, capital improvement, and development needs. Our services include comprehensive third-party review of subdivision maps, improvement plans, legal descriptions, and specifications to ensure compliance with City and state standards. PCE has also updated the City’s engineering standards and speci-fications, providing greater clarity, consistency, and predictability for staff, developers, contractors, and design professionals.
PCE also provides design, construction management, and construction-phase support for the City’s Capital Improvement Projects. Current and recent assignments include construction management support for the Los Banos City Hall restoration, City parking lot improvements, and installation of an 18-inch water main along Mercy Springs Road. These projects require coordination with City staff, contractors, utilities, inspectors, and other stakeholders; field observation; construction documentation; quality-control and materials-testing coordination; schedule and cost monitoring; pay-estimate and change-order sup-port; and closeout assistance. PCE has also prepared plans and specifications for a storm drain pipe enlargement project to improve drainage capacity and reduce flooding, as well as multiple street and road repair projects that extend the service life of the City’s transportation network.
Beyond project design and construction support, PCE completed an APN audit report for the City’s landscape and lighting districts, supporting accurate assessments and appropriate allocation of district funds. Throughout these efforts, our team has overseen daily divisional operations, prepared staff and progress reports, and coordinated closely with City management to support efficient, transparent, and responsive public works administration.
