Scope of Work
Precision Civil Engineering, Inc. (PCE) serves as the On-Call Engineer for the Selma-Kingsburg-Fowler County Sanitation District, providing professional engineering and technical support services that assist District staff with day-to-day system management, capital planning, and regulatory compliance. In this role, our team helps the District operate, maintain, refurbish, replace, and expand the wastewater treatment plant and large-diameter sewer system that serves the regional service area, keeping critical infrastructure reliable, efficient, and prepared for future demand.
PCE supports the District by responding to developer and public inquiries, conducting plan checks, assisting with permit issuance, reviewing sewer improvement plans, and providing construction inspection so that new infrastructure is consistently built to District standards and integrated smoothly into the existing system. Our team also advances the District’s capital improvement program, helping staff scope, prioritize, budget, and deliver the rehabilitation, replacement, and expansion projects needed to sustain dependable wastewater service across the region.
In support of the District’s regulatory responsibilities, PCE helps meet California’s statewide waste discharge requirements for sanitary sewer systems, including sewer system management, capacity assurance, maintenance, and overflow prevention. This work helps the District protect public health, reduce the risk of overflows, and remain in full compliance with evolving state wastewater regulations, safeguarding both the environment and the community it serves.
PCE works closely with District leadership and engineering staff to deliver responsive, practical support aligned with operational needs and long-term service commitments. Through this on-call relationship, our firm extends the District’s internal resources with reliable, cost-effective engineering expertise that supports daily operations, future improvements, and continued service to the communities of Selma, Kingsburg, Fowler, and the surrounding areas for years to come.
